About Nitro League
Nitro League is a decentralized racing game in the play-to-earn (P2E) model, driven by the Nitro token and NFTs that players can upgrade. One product had to win over gamers, NFT collectors and investors at once.
Several experiences live inside it:
- a 3D garage where players work together as a community
- simulation racing
- a metaverse for trading properties, production factories and garages
- an NFT marketplace
Scope of work: conceptualization and the journey from idea to product; art direction; sketching and modeling; an MVP launch plan; website and game design; and enhancements after launch.

Why the launch was hard
Nitro League launched into a market that did not yet trust crypto. When the team reached out to us, crypto and blockchain were still new ideas for most people. Investors questioned whether crypto products were real, and whether they would see any return.
Meanwhile, gamers and NFT collectors were arriving fast. The game had to win credibility and stand apart in a market that shifted month to month.
What we designed
We shaped Nitro League around the people who would play, collect and invest, from the first concept all the way to go-to-market. Four experiences came out of that work.
Simulation racing in 2D
We built the main racing loop as a 2D simulation, so new players understand it from their first race.

A 3D garage players can explore
The garage is where players check their cars, upgrade them and show them off. It also works as the community's meeting point.

Cars built to be collected
Every car got enough detail to feel like a collectible.

A website that leads into the NFT marketplace
The marketing site covers the game, roadmap, whitepaper and tokenomics, then sends players and investors to the marketplace.

How we got there
We opened with product discovery and interviews with stakeholders, as every MVP design agency project of ours begins. Those sessions gave us the user flows and the material for a detailed whitepaper.
Branding workshops then produced a bold identity for the brand. CG artists brought the gameplay to life, and design thinking guided the garage and website. Professional gamers tested and approved the final product.

What Nitro League achieved
After launching on a platform with a strong visual identity, Nitro League raised $5M in funding in just 3 months:
- Funding: launching on this platform attracted investors.
- Awareness: well-timed NFT sales got people talking about the game.
- Upgradeable NFTs: each NFT shipped with AR/VR and 3D visuals.

The tokenomics split the token supply across four allocations.
| Allocation | Share |
|---|---|
| Private sales | 15.83% |
| Public sales | 3.34% |
| Ecosystem / economy | 30% |
| Treasury | 25.83% |
