Who we are
ui-ux.agency is the UI UX design agency of tkxel, a software engineering company headquartered at 11921 Freedom Drive, Two Fountain Square, Reston, Virginia. Our designers have worked on more than 200 digital products since 2017.
We focus on three kinds of work: products built on AI, subscription software, and first versions of startup products. Each one has its own design problems, and we would rather know those problems deeply than know a little about every market.
What we design
- AI products: we design how people ask an AI system for help, read its answers and correct it. See our AI UX design agency and chatbot UI design pages.
- SaaS products: onboarding, workflows, dashboards and billing for new software, and phased redesigns for software that already has customers. See SaaS design agency and SaaS product redesign.
- Startup products: tested, clickable first versions, and product design support after launch. See MVP design agency and product design agency.
You can work with us on a fixed project or hire UI UX designers who join your team every month. Our UI UX design cost guide lists every price range.
Why a design agency inside an engineering company
Most design agencies hand over files and leave. Because we are part of tkxel, our designers sit next to the engineers who build software every day. Designs are checked for build effort before you see them, and when you need development as well, one company delivers both.
How we work
- Talk to users first. Every project starts with interviews, analytics or support data, not opinions.
- Test before building. Risky flows are tested with 5 to 8 real users as clickable prototypes.
- Design for the build. Engineers receive components, specs and answers during every sprint.
- Publish prices. Every engagement has a published range, and every proposal has a fixed scope.
